Classic Tory face these days ...

I posted this photo on my Facebook page a few days ago, and I received more "likes" and comments on this week's photo than any other one this year. Our little Tory Bean is definitely a ham and this is one of her classic faces these days. It's here "oh!" face (in the most innocent sense) and she does it about a million times throughout the day. It never ceases to crack us up!

Today, singing "If You're Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands" was the only way to get her to sit still ... even for a second. Tory Girl is craaazy for that song these days and can't help but clap her hands when we sing it. She's also into patting her hand against her mouth and saying "bah bah bah" like a little Indian Chef. It's too cute.

The sweet, gentle smile on Tory Bean's face gives the impression she poses perfectly for these weekly photo sessons. This is most definitely not the case.

With Tory's new found standing and cruising skills, she now stands right up in the chair and practically leaps out of it before I run across the room to catch her. Weekly photo time is a two-parent job and I'm out of breathe by the time we get a good one. What I won't do for a bright smile from my baby girl? (jumping jacks, dancing, clapping, singing, barking, toy-shaking, baby catching ... you name it).

Only six more weeks until the Big 52!

What a crazy animal our little Tory Bean is! She knows just what to expect when Andi and I sit her down in the chair to take her weekly photo. Today, she lounged forward the second I set her down and laughed uncontrollably.

We finally did capture a nice photo of her sitting next to her zebra, but Andi pleaded with me to post this one. After all, this is the photo we'll want to look back on and smile about in years to come.

Hard to believe this cute little doll is 9 months old already!

Tory's working on her second tooth and definitely not feeling her best this week. The only way I could get her to sit still - even for a second - was to give her a toy to chew on. At one point, she laid her head down on the chair as if saying "enough photos, mom."

*Taking these photos each week has become a two-person job. Toy has discovered how to scoot and slide out of the chair on her own (but has no idea what to do when she gets there - eek!) or stands up using the chair arm the second you set her down on her bottom. I've love to see how ridiculous Andi and I look propping her up / shouting to attract her attention / putting her back in place / propping up the zebraffe animal / snapping a gazillion photos. We may not make it to 52 weeks at this rate!
