It's A ...

BOY!!!!

We had our big 20 week ultrasound this morning and Baby BOY (!!!) looks healthy and perfect. It was the best baby ultrasound I've ever experienced. Our tech was very descriptive in everything she was measuring and checking. We were able to see all of Baby #2's hands, feet, legs, arms, brain, stomach, kidneys, etc. The tech said Baby #2 was very cooperative during the ultrasound ... what a good little BOY!

This mama over here is still in complete SHOCK we're expecting a little boy this November. It's not that I didn't expect a boy. In honesty, I wasn't sure what we were having. Some days I'd think girl; others I'd feel boy. Andi would never say either way. It's just a little boy will change the dynamic around here so much. A little dude to give Tory a hard time. Muddy clothes, trucks and dinosaurs. I just can't believe it.

That that we know for sure (and believe me, we know based on the ultrasound picture!), I'm so very excited and a little nervous to even the numbers around our household. A little boy? With all the girls in our family, who would have imagined?! This is both our parents first grand-baby boy. A little penis .. eek! (Did I just say that? Better get used to it, I suppose). There's a smile permanently planted on my face today. What a lucky, lucky lady I am to be blessed with a son. I'm already head over heels in love with him.

  2. Hooray, hooray, hooray. Obviously either way would have been awesome, but since I know the older sister/little brother combo for myself (and as a big sister to a little brother), I think it's going to be great!

And the taking-care-of-a-little-penis thing TOTALLY freaked me out at first but you get over it pretty darn quickly :)

    Yay!

  5. I'm so excited for you, and I'm still so shocked! I had just assumed girl since that's what you had. I know, dumb reasoning but I never claimed to be smrat. ;)

Also, I checked the calendar for you last night. It said boy if conceived after your birthday, but girl before. So I think it's wrong, right?
