Yesterday we celebrated Andi's mom Janie's birthday and went canoeing down the St. Croix River about an hour away from our house. My own family isn't very outdoors-y so this was my first time canoeing. I have to admit, I was a little nervous but it was so easy! And so fun!

We brought a picnic of fancy cheeses, bread, crackers, fruit and all-natural lemonade for a mid-trip snack. And of course, we took the opportunity to take a few group pictures because, well, that's just what we do :)
