Gopher football is back on campus

Yesterday was the first game in the new TCF Bank Stadium. It was all hands on deck for ARAMARK managers. A full 12 hour day ... and I'm exhausted today. Here's how the day played out:

9:00AM
Last minute stop to Kinkos for signage (nothing like squeezing it in the last second)

10:15AM
Pick up my regional boss from the airport - she flew in to help at the game

11:00AM
Setup 6 supplemental service sites around campus - anywhere you wanna buy a beverage, we're there

2:00PM
Check merchandising / marketing in all concession stands

4:00PM
Gates open. Students flooding into the stadium ... and we're handing out maps and samples

6:00PM
Game Time!
This was the view at the start of the game
There were fireworks and a fighter jet flyover - the crowd was going wild

8PM
Half time - the concessions level was crazy. I'd be lying if I said every single person in the stadium was in line for a hot dog (or at least it felt that way).

We do it all over again next Saturday. Another exciting, hair raising, cheer on the Gophers (and feed all the Gopher fans) 12 hour day.

  1. Good golly, Miss Molly that sounds exhausting! How did you even find the energy to blog today!? Sounds like it was a huge success - good job you & Suzanne. Can't wait to hear more about it!
